Designed for use with resistive loads,
the above transformers reflect the latest design technologies;
they have been subdivided into three categories: ‘’to
be incorporated’’, ‘’mobile’’, ‘’mobile
and independent’’, enhanced by small-sized
features and a toroidal design. They demonstrate compliance
with Directive 89/336/EEC and more particularly, with EN61347-2-2,
EN61347-1, EN55014, EN55104 and IEC1000-3-2 Standards.
Constructed in a 40VA to 300VA range, they are dimmable,
also through
an IGBT transistor or else, through a 470Kohm or 4,7 Mohm
linear taper potentiometer for some models. They come in
series powered by 100 – 117VAC, 230VAC, 240VAC supply
voltages. Some products may be equipped with special IP20
protection shells or be manufactured from IP23 standards.
Customary output voltages are 12V and 24V.
The insulation class of the embedded electronic transformer
may vary according to the type of mount, while mobile and
mobile and self-contained models fall within Class II and,
in some cases, they have been supplied with a brand new latching
system that requires no fastening bolts.
Apart from ‘’built-in’’ transformers,
all electronic transformers can be provided with alternative
solutions to terminals, such as cabling devices and fasts-on
for the quick connection of spotlights.
OEM products are achieved.
